2011 Arnold Amateur Weekend Schedule

ALL EVENTS AT VETERANS MEMORIAL
10 a.m. COMPETITORS CHECK-IN – Wayne Brehm Room (Veterans Memorial)

MEN’S CLASSIC BODYBUILDING COMPETITORS
are required to check in with competition officials Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Veterans Memorial, Wayne Brehm Room, from 10 a.m.-Noon. U.S. competitors (NPC) only need to provide their NPC card at that time. NPC officials will be on hand if competitors need to purchase NPC Membership. International athletes must provide confirmation for registration with an official letter of approval from their national federation with proof of membership.

Classic bodybuilding competitors who finish in the top 5 and advance to Friday are required to submit music on Friday at check-in on CD only, 60 seconds.
1 p.m. MEN’S CLASSIC BODYBUILDING PREJUDGING
3-6 p.m. COMPETITORS CHECK-IN – Wayne Brehm Room (Veterans Memorial)

FITNESS, FIGURE AND BIKINI COMPETITORS
are required to check in with competition officials Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Veterans Memorial, Wayne Brehm Room, from 3-6 p.m. U.S. competitors (NPC) only need to provide their NPC card at that time. NPC officials will be on hand if competitors need to purchase NPC Membership. International athletes must provide confirmation for registration with an official letter of approval from their national federation with proof of membership. All competitors will be provided with numbers and schedule of events.

Fitness competitors are required to submit music at this time on CD only, 120 seconds.

MEN’S & WOMEN’S BODYBUILDING and FIGURE MASTERS COMPETITORS
may check-in either from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, March 3 or from 7-8 a.m. Friday, March 4 at Veterans Memorial.
6 p.m. COMPETITORS MEETING
All FITNESS, FIGURE AND BIKINI ATHLETES must attend a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Veterans Memorial. All athletes must be checked in prior to the meeting. At this time each class will be given instruction as to how the show will be run. Athletes will also receive their numbers.
7 p.m. FITNESS ROUTINE ROUND
Competitors will perform their two-minute routines at this time. This is the only time competitors will perform routines for the judges.
• Short: Up to and including 163 cm (5’-4” )
• Tall: Over 163 cm (over 5’-4” )
8 p.m. BIKINI TWO PIECE ROUND
Competitors will come out in small groups of six or seven at one time and go through the mandatory poses. At the conclusion of that assessment they will be brought back on stage to do their individual presentation. At the conclusion of the individual presentation they will be placed in the line up and taken through the comparison round
• Up to and including 158 cm (5’2”)
• Up to and including 163 cm (5’4”)
• Up to and including 168 cm (5’6”)
• Over 168 cm (Over 5’6”)
8:30 p.mFIGURE TWO PIECE ROUND
Competitors will come out in small groups of six or seven at one time and go through the mandatory poses. At the conclusion of that assessment they will be brought back on stage to do their individual presentation. At the conclusion of the individual presentation they will be placed in the line up and taken through the comparison round
•Up to and including 155 cm (5’1” )
• Up to and including 159 cm (5’2½” )
• Up to and including 163 cm (5’4” )
• Up to and including 167 cm (5’5½” )
• Up to and including 170 cm (5’7” )
• Over 170 cm (Over 5’7” )
9:30 p.m. FITNESS TWO PIECE ROUND
Competitors will come out in small groups of six or seven at one time and go through the mandatory poses. Each competitor will then take the stage for their individual presentation. At the conclusion of that assessment they will again take the stage as a group and be separated for comparisons.
• Short: Up to and including 163 cm (5’-4” )
• Tall: Over 163 cm (over 5’-4” )

U.S. competitors (NPC) only need to provide their NPC card at that time. NPC officials will be on hand if competitors need to purchase NPC Membership. International athletes must provide confirmation for registration with an official letter of approval from their national federation with proof of membership. All competitors will be provided with numbers and schedule of events.

Men’s Classic Bodybuilding competitors who advance to the top 5 are required to submit music at this time on CD only, 60 seconds.

9:40 a.m. WOMAN’S BODYBUILDING
No competitor will do 60-second free posing round. Competitors will come out in small groups of six or seven at one time and go through the symmetry round then move right to the comparison round.
•Lightweight: Up to and including 55 kg (121 lbs)
• Heavyweight: Over 55 kg (121 lbs)
10:40 a.m. MEN’S BODYBUILDING
No competitor will do 60-second free posing round. Competitors will come out in small groups of six or seven at one time and go through the symmetry round then move right to the comparison round.
• Lightweight: Up to and incl. 70 kg (154 lbs)
• Welterweight: Up to and incl. 75 kg (165 lbs)
• Light-Middleweight: Up to and incl. 80 kg (176 lbs)
• Middleweight: Up to and incl. 85 kg (187 lbs)
• Light-Heavyweight: Up to and incl. 90 kg (198 lbs)
• Heavyweight: Up to and incl. 100 kg (220 lbs)
• Super-Heavyweight: Over 100 kg (220 lbs)

8 a.m. COMPETITORS CHECK-IN

All finalists in Men’s & Women’s Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure and Bikini must check-in at the Greater Columbus Convention Center between 8-9 a.m. on Saturday, March 5.

Men’s & Women’s Bodybuilding competitors are required to submit music at this time on CD only, 60 seconds.

Fitness competitors are required to submit music at this time on CD only, 120 seconds.
9 a.m. COMPETITOR’S MEETING
All finalists must attend a competitor’s meeting at the Greater Columbus Convention Center Meeting Rooms D 43, D 44. and D 45 for all finalist in men’s & women’s bodybuilding, fitness, figure and bikini. Music must be turned in at this time.

FINALS FOR ALL MEN’S AND WOMEN’S CLASSES will be held on main expo stage at the Arnold Fitness EXPO at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
10 a.m. FITNESS AND FIGURE CLASSES
• Introduction of Fitness top five with awards for all classes & overall
• Introduction of Open Figure top ten, then top five awards for all classes & overall

AWARDS FOR FOUR MEN’S BODYBUILDING CLASSES
1:30 p.m. OVERALL POSE DOWN FOR MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BODYBUILDING
* All athletes will be given a wrist band for entrance into the Columbus Convention Center Main Expo Hall for the duration of the weekend. This wrist band will need to be displayed for you to gain access to the Arnold Fitness EXPO in the Greater Columbus Convention Center for the finals on Saturday, March 5.
